Conference of Young Slavists 2026, CAS Prague

Dear Colleagues, We are pleased to inform you that the 20th International Conference of Young Slavists will take place on 17–18 December 2026 at the Czech Academy of Sciences (Room 205). As this is a jubilee edition, the conference will not have a strict thematic focus; therefore, we welcome papers addressing topics related to the Slavic region. Contributions in the fields of historiography, linguistics, literary studies, and cultural studies are especially encouraged. We kindly ask you to inform your colleagues about the opportunity to apply for the conference (please see the attached poster for further information). The conference is intended for bachelor’s and master’s students, PhD students, and early-career researchers. Conference languages: all Slavic languages and English. The deadline for applications is 30 September 2026.
