This volume is dedicated to the analysis of catechetical works among Western, Southern and Eastern Slavs in the 16th–18th centuries. Studying original and translated catechism texts from a linguistic, historical and cultural perspective the authors retrace the significance of these texts for the development of standard Slavic languages, the cultural transfer, and enlightenment.
